Cherry Knoll Farm Cleans Up at the 2015 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show

29-Jun-2015

Lewisburg, West Virginia – June 26, 2015 – Cherry Knoll Farm had an outstanding three days showing at the 2015 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show. The gifted string of junior competitors, aligned with the remarkable breeding of the Cherry Knoll Farm cattle, proved the perfect formula for success, with the CKF Team collecting the purple across all divisions.

In the Cow Calf show, Catie Hope was awarded the Grand Champion Cow Calf Pair with Cherry Knoll Princess 1413, a daughter of Dameron First Impression.

“The cool thing is that Jazzy grew up in the show barn, so when she was only a month or two old, her mother was being shown as a cow calf pair,” Hope said. “Jazzy has never really left the show barn, which has made her an extremely easy cow calf pair.”

During the Bred & Owned Heifer Show, Bryce Fitzgerald showed Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1454 to the title of Grand Champion Bred & Owned Female. Earlier in the show he shined during the Intermediate division and was ultimately awarded the title of Grand Champion Showman.

Brody Fitzgerald returned to the show ring for the Bull Show, earning the coveted title of Grand Champion Bull with Cherry Knoll Brigade 1404.

Logan and Lexi Wright both made the Junior Showmanship Finals on the opening day of the Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show, with Logan winning the second place and Lexi following just behind in the third.
