Cherry Knoll Farm Sweeps Harrisburg, Concluding 2015 Keystone International Livestock Exposition with Top Results

West Grove, Pennsylvania – October 8, 2015 – It was a whirlwind weekend for the team at Cherry Knoll Farm as they swept the 2015 Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE) ROV Angus Show and Junior Angus Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The KILE ROV Angus Show kicked off the competition on Friday, Oct. 2, welcoming competitors to the Pennsylvania Farm Complex and Expo Center. From the start of the event, Cherry Knoll Farm stole the spotlight.

Claudia Hissong and Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1331 earned Grand Champion Cow/Calf, while Cailey Dahlquist earned the Reserve Grand Champion Cow/Calf with Cherry Knoll Queen 1337. Hissong continued her winning streak during the Heifer Show with Double C Rosebud 1501 winning the Reserve Junior Heifer Calf Champion.

Shelby Stabler and Cherry Knoll Pleasant Elsa 1439 won the Senior Heifer Calf Championship, then went on to win the Grand Champion Female in the Open Show. Lexi Wright and Cherry Knoll May 1449 took first place in their class, clinching the Intermediate Champion Heifer.

Junior Champion Female was awarded to Matthew Mitchell and Cherry Knoll Lady 1437 after the pair won the April Junior Yearling Heifers.

Congratulations to Shelby Stabler and Cherry Knoll Pleasant Elsa 1439 who were awarded the honor of Premier Exhibitor.

In the Bull Show, Brody Fitzgerald showed Cherry Knoll Brigade 1404 to the Grand Champion Bull, and Matt Mitchell showed Cherry Knoll Total Product to be Reserve Senior Champion Bull.

The success only continued for Cherry Knoll Farm when they brought their top string of junior competitors to the Farm Complex on Sunday to compete in the KILE Junior Angus Show.

Grand Champion Cow/Calf was awarded to Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1331, shown by Claudia Hissong, and the Reserve Grand Champion Cow/Calf was presented to Cherry Knoll Queen 1337 shown by Cailey Dahlquist.

In the Heifer Show, Claudia Hissong won Junior Heifer Calf Champion with Double C Rosebud 1501. Shelby Stabler won Senior Calf Champion with Cherry Knoll Pleasant Elsa 1439. Cailey Dahlquist showed to the Reserve Senior Heifer Calf Champion with Cherry Knoll Lady 1461, and Bryce Fitzgerald showed Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1454 to win the Intermediate Champion Heifer Division. Shelby Stabler was awarded the Grand Champion Heifer for Cherry Knoll Pleasant Elsa 1439, and took the title of Best Female Bred & Owned by Exhibitor.

Bryce Fitzgerald finished as the Reserve Grand Champion Heifer with Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1454, and was recognized as the Best Female Bred & Owned by Exhibitor Reserve Champion.
