Nick Skelton is a British equestrian legend and one of the most accomplished show jumpers in the history of the sport. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has amassed a staggering array of accolades, including six Olympic outings and numerous championship titles.
Nick represented Great Britain at the Olympics for the first time in 1988 and went on to compete in subsequent Games, becoming a cornerstone of the British equestrian team. His crowning achievement came at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, where he won an individual gold medal aboard his legendary horse, Big Star.
Known for his exceptional skill, competitive spirit, and deep bond with his horses, Skelton has inspired generations of riders. He officially retired from competitive show jumping in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and perseverance.
